Job Description
• Sr. ServiceNow ITAM & ITOM Developer to drive a critical, enterprise-wide initiative focused on strengthening our client’s Digital Technology (DT) asset posture, compliance, and governance. Operating within a Program Increment (PI) planning framework, this pivotal role will lead the installation, configuration, and optimization of core ServiceNow modules—including SAM, HAM, CMDB, ITOM, ITSM, and AI Control Tower. The successful candidate will directly tackle existing challenges around inconsistent asset data, lack of ownership, and orphaned assets, establishing a reliable system of record that enables superior operational decision-making, audit readiness, and risk mitigation across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
• Module Installation & Configuration: Lead the technical implementation and customization of ServiceNow SAM, HAM, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, and AI Control Tower.
• Data Integrity & Governance: Develop and optimize capabilities to improve asset visibility, data accuracy, and lifecycle tracking, effectively eliminating orphaned assets and establishing a trustworthy system of record.
• Agile/SAFe Delivery: Actively participate in PI planning sessions to align development goals with enterprise OKRs and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Process Optimization: Standardize and enforce governance workflows to ensure cross-enterprise compliance and robust audit readiness.
• Platform Innovation: Leverage advanced features like AI Control Tower to modernize asset tracking and drive proactive platform monitoring.
Qualifications
• ServiceNow Expertise: Proven experience as a Senior Developer with deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM (SAM/HAM) and ITOM (CMDB/Discovery/Service Mapping).
• Hands-on Implementation: Demonstrated track record of successfully installing new ServiceNow products, configuring complex modules, and managing platform upgrades.
• Data & Lifecycle Management: Strong background in asset lifecycle tracking, configuration management, and resolving complex data quality/governance issues.
• Framework Familiarity: Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments, specifically participating in PI planning.
• Soft Skills & Location: Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders in the Washington, D.C. area.
