Technical Architect

• Design and develop enterprise-grade solutions using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance cloud-native applications on AWS or similar platforms.
• Define and implement event-driven architectures using messaging technologies such as Kafka.
• Design and govern API architectures including REST and gRPC services.
• Develop high-level and low-level technical designs including component diagrams, sequence diagrams, and deployment architectures.
• Define integration patterns, messaging strategies, and data flow architectures.
• Implement caching and in-memory data grid solutions to improve system performance.
• Utilize IBM ODM or similar rules engines for decision management solutions.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps best practices.
• Implement structured logging, monitoring, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Evaluate technical design options and make architectural trade-offs based on scalability, performance, and cost.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in client-facing discussions and provide technical leadership and guidance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on AWS or similar platforms.
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of API design including REST and gRPC.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems including scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
• Experience with caching and in-memory data grid technologies.
• Familiarity with rules engines such as IBM ODM.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and enterprise delivery models.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles and stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in payment networks or card processing domains.
• Knowledge of decision management systems and rule governance frameworks.
• Experience with high-volume, low-latency transactional platforms.
• Exposure to regulated environments such as PCI or security-sensitive systems.

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.

Years of Experience:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on architecture and enterprise application development.
