Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Business Analysis, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our projects align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough business requirements analysis to identify and document business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements for new and existing systems.
• Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve business processes.
• Support project management activities, including project planning, risk management, and status reporting.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
• Provide training and support to end users on new systems and processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Business Analysis.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Business Analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Proficient in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with process modeling and improvement techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of industry specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience in leading cross functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 15 years of experience in Business Analysis or a related role.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
