REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - 7+ years of PM experience delivering complex, customer-facing technology implementations

- PMP or equivalent credential (or demonstrated equivalent experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION Project Manager who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in running large information technology projects in various customer businesses areas at an Investor-Owned Utility client headquartered in Seattle, WA.
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of our Electric Service Application Platform (ESAP) - a modern customer-facing intake and workflow system (e.g., Accela, PowerClerk, GridUnity) supporting electric service requests and distributed energy resource (DER) interconnections.
We're looking for a strong, hands-on PM who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments - someone who can break down a large implementation into manageable phases, hold vendors accountable, and keep diverse internal teams aligned.
Location: This position is Remote and the client is located in the Seattle area.
Responsibilities: - Own the full project lifecycle: charter, plan, execution, cutover, and closeout
- Decompose the implementation into discrete use cases and workstreams (e.g., new service requests, DER interconnection intake, workflow automation, system integrations) and manage each to completion
- Drive scope, schedule, budget, and resource plans - keeping them current and honest
- Lead cutover planning, data migration, and operational transition to steady state
- Lead or support the RFP/procurement process to select a platform (e.g., Accela, PowerClerk, GridUnity) and system integrator
- Define and finalize contracts and statements of work
- Hold vendors accountable to deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
Strongly Preferred - Direct experience with electric service request, permitting, or interconnection workflows
- Familiarity with platforms such as Accela, PowerClerk, GridUnity, or similar intake/workflow tools
- Experience with customer-facing utility applications (self-service portals, service request systems, or similar)
