Job Summary
We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support utility-scale solar construction projects by managing owner-supplied materials such as solar modules, batteries, and power inverters. The candidate will act as the owner s on-site representative, responsible for tracking deliveries, coordinating with logistics vendors and EPC contractors, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
This role requires strong logistics coordination, reporting, and communication skills, along with experience working in construction, supply chain, or renewable energy environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage deliveries of solar modules, inverters, and battery equipment at project sites.
- Collect, verify, and upload Bills of Lading (BOL) and delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate logistics records using Unifier and other reporting systems.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on delivery status, schedules, and logistics activities.
- Coordinate with vendors, logistics carriers, EPC contractors, and project teams.
- Identify and communicate delivery delays, scheduling conflicts, or material issues.
- Document damaged equipment and assist with validation and warranty claims.
- Coordinate recycling or disposal of damaged materials when required.
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and PPE guidelines.
- Support adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and site delivery protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, construction materials management, or supply chain coordination.
- Experience using Unifier or similar reporting/project tracking systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deliveries, schedules, and logistics activities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction logistics or materials coordination.
- Experience supervising small teams (up to 5 personnel).
- Exposure to solar or renewable energy construction projects.
