Job DetailsThe Controller will oversee financial operations across two construction-focused businesses supporting concrete and site services. This role is responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and partnering with operations to drive performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and year-end close processes across multiple entities
- Manage job cost accounting, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition
- Oversee AR/AP, billing cycles, retainage, and cash flow forecasting
- Partner with project teams to monitor budgets, margins, and cost performance
- Maintain internal controls and support audit, tax, and compliance requirements
- Supervise accounting staff and support process improvements across platforms

Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to construction or related industries
- Strong understanding of job cost accounting, WIP, and project-based financials
- Experience in multi-entity or growing platform environments preferred
- Proficiency in construction accounting systems such as Deltek ComputerEase, Viewpoint Vista, Sage 300, or similar construction ERP systems and Excel
- Strong communication skills with ability to work closely with operations and leadership
