End User Migration Technician

Description

We are looking for a skilled End User Migration Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will provide technical expertise in hardware setup, troubleshooting, and user support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of devices and systems, including Apple and Dell technologies.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and associated peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
Perform cable installations and verify proper connectivity for system functionality.
Provide technical support and guidance to end users, addressing hardware-related issues effectively.
Manage and maintain devices from Dell Technologies and Apple, ensuring compatibility and reliability.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of hardware to prevent potential failures.
Collaborate with team members to execute migration tasks and resolve technical challenges.
Document and report on system setups, issues, and resolutions for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and protocols during all technical operations.
Train users on hardware functionality and basic troubleshooting methods when necessary.
Adapt quickly to new technologies and update systems as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in computer hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with cable installation techniques and best practices.
Strong knowledge of Dell Technologies and Apple devices.
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues efficiently.
Solid understanding of associated hardware components and their functions.
Excellent communication skills to assist end users effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
