Description
We are looking for an experienced End User Migration Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting end users with hardware installations, configurations, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless functionality. If you have a strong background in computer hardware and a knack for problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Install and configure computer hardware and associated devices for end users.
Provide technical support for Apple and Dell technologies, ensuring optimal performance.
Assist with cable installation and connectivity for hardware setups.
Troubleshoot hardware issues and resolve them efficiently to minimize downtime.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems.
Collaborate with other technicians to streamline migration processes.
Document all work performed, including installations and troubleshooting steps.
Ensure compliance with company standards and policies during hardware setup.
Communicate effectively with end users to address their technical concerns.
Requirements
Proven experience with computer hardware installations and configurations.
Familiarity with Apple devices and Dell technologies.
Hands-on expertise in cable installation and connectivity.
Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving hardware-related issues.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact with end users.
Knowledge of compliance standards related to hardware setups.
Previous experience in a similar technician role is preferred.
