Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Blue Ash, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing computer networks while ensuring their security and reliability. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in network hardware and software, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Administer computer networks and computing environments, including systems software, applications, hardware, and configurations.
Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure system resilience.
Develop and implement network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
Replace malfunctioning network hardware components as needed to maintain system functionality.
Monitor network performance to identify areas requiring adjustments or improvements.
Collaborate with network users to address and resolve system concerns effectively.
Operate master consoles to oversee the performance of networks and computer systems.
Manage and coordinate access and usage of computer networks.
Design, configure, and test networking software, hardware, and operating systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Requirements
Proficiency in working with Cisco Routers and Cisco Networking.
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco ASA.
Strong knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Solid understanding of network security protocols and practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
Familiarity with the design and configuration of networking software and hardware.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and users.
Detail-oriented approach to monitoring and maintaining network performance.
