Seeking a skilled and experienced Agile Delivery Lead/Scrum Master to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading Agile teams in software development projects. As an Agile Delivery Consultant, you will work closely with our client's teams to facilitate the Agile process, ensure adherence to Scrum practices, and drive continuous improvement.

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive the team to deliver high-quality, valuable increments of capability on time while aligning with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure a clear understanding of the product backlog and project goals.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in the estimation and planning of sprints and releases.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Remove impediments and obstacles that may hinder the team's progress.
  • Track and communicate progress using metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, developer metrics).
  • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders about progress and risks.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Understand the state of each team member and of the team overall. Provide transparency to Program Lead about the state of the Scrum Team.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.




qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.


Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.


Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development projects.


Solid understanding of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and software development lifecycle.


Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.


Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed team environment (onshore, nearshore, and offshore).


Familiar with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).


Problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate complex project environments.


Experience in mentoring and upskilling Agile teams.


Ability to work with diverse teams and deliver releases on time.


Experience managing dependencies between teams.


Previous demonstrated success working with a Client for requirements and an outsourced vendor for associated development activities.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience in consulting or working with clients in a professional services environment.


Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, SAFe, Scrum, FDD).


Technical background or familiarity with software development practices and technologies.


Strong analytical and organizational skills.
