PLEASE NOTE after the worker starts they will go through an additional comprehensive background check conducted by Acentra on behalf of their Federal client (Please see final pre-screening question). These are 6 month temp to perm positions.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale healthcare and technology initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in driving projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and deliver high-impact results aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end project delivery for complex initiatives, ensuring successful execution across scope, schedule, and budget
·Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and presentations
· Track project milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics using project management tools
· Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues and escalating when necessary
· Oversee project budgets and resource planning, ensuring financial alignment and efficiency
· Ensure compliance with governance standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory guidelines (including HIPAA)
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, risks, and change requests
· Partner with stakeholders to analyze challenges and recommend effective solutions
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes
· Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, or a related field
· 5–7 years of project management experience
· Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects independently
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
Preferred Qualifications
· Master’s degree in a related field
· PMP, Six Sigma, or similar project management certification (or in progress)
· Experience working within healthcare systems, Medicaid/Medicare programs, or government contracts
