This is an execution-heavy, hands-on role requiring strong analytical skills, advanced SQL experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, system implementation partners, and offshore vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration & Validation

  • Identify discrepancies in enrollment, disenrollment, membership maintenance, and related Medicare transaction data.
  • Monitor plan changes and ensure accurate mapping, reconciliation, and continuity across legacy and new systems.
  • Support load testing and data quality checks as part of migration readiness efforts.

Technical & Analytical Support

  • Use SQL to pull data, build queries, and perform complex data comparisons and reconciliations.
  • Analyze system outputs to validate configurations and support defect tracking.
  • Provide analytical insights to support reporting needs tied to compliance, plan changes, and CMS-related communications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Business Analysts, Project Managers, Billing, Premium, Communications, and Technology teams.
  • Collaborate with offshore vendor partners; experience working with offshore teams is strongly preferred.
  • Participate in onboarding and knowledge-transfer sessions to support Medicare operational processes.

Issue Tracking & Operational Support

  • Support identification, tracking, and mitigation of risks and issues related to data migration.
  • Assist in reviewing existing reports to determine which can be migrated to Salesforce, rebuilt, etc.
  • Contribute to process optimization efforts while ensuring Medicare regulatory timelines are met.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar analytical role.
  • Strong hands-on experience using SQL for data extraction, querying, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and workflows.
  • Comfort collaborating across multiple teams, including offshore vendors.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience in healthcare or health insurance, particularly payer operations.
  • Exposure to system integration or data migration projects.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Medicare enrollment, maintenance, or plan change workflows.
