TEKsystems Hawaii is hiring for a Healthcare Operations Business Analyst focusing on reporting and quality. This team member will be responsible for ensuring that reporting frameworks, quality metrics, and operational workflows remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with the new Salesforce environment. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role focused on evaluating existing reports, monitoring data quality, validating system-generated outputs, and ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) meet the quality expectations for billing, premium, enrollment, and related Medicare functions. This role partners closely with internal teams-including Billing & Premium, Data Analysts, and vendor partner-to ensure all requirements are captured, validated, and operationally sound.
Job Description:A local Healthcare Insurance company will be retiring a legacy platform and transitioning to using Salesforce. There are also significant changes within their Medicare line of business in the near future due to regulatory and operational shifts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting Oversight & Modernization:
- Inventory existing Medicare-related reports to determine (for example: which reports can be migrated into Salesforce, which must be rebuilt, which can be consolidated).
- Maintain a repository of all reports and ensure documentation is up to date and accurate.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and other stakeholders as needed to validate report logic and maintain consistency across systems.
Quality Assessment & Compliance
- Review SOPs and ensure they contain all required quality elements for Medicare billing, premium management, enrollment/disenrollment, and maintenance transactions.
- Validate that operational outputs align with SOP guidance and regulatory expectations.
- Perform quality audits and assist in establishing quality metrics for Medicare operations.
Requirements & Workflow Analysis:
- Assist the team in gathering and documenting requirements for the replacement of the legacy system.
- Identify gaps in current processes and recommend improvements aligned with the new Salesforce architecture.
- Support workflow streamlining to reduce manual work and improve consistency across internal and vendor teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with primarily internal stakeholders and teams, on occasion with the vendor.
- Participate in cross-functional working sessions to ensure reporting and quality requirements are represented during system buildout.
Operational Support:
- Support knowledge transfer, onboarding processes, and ongoing collaboration with team members.
- Assist with operational readiness tasks linked to the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).
- Ensure replacement processes and reports meet Medicare regulatory timelines and internal audit standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of business analyst experience.
- Strong understanding of reporting, analytics, or operational quality processes.
- Ability to evaluate complex workflows and streamline processes.
- Experience documenting requirements and validating outputs against requirements.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with offshore vendors and multiple stakeholder groups

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $40.00/hr.
