DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
• Research and exploration of user requirements, costs, and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
• Responsible for analyzing the business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that will meet those needs.
• Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
• Analyze detailed system factors including input/output requirements, information and paper flow, hardware, and software needs.
• Analyze “soft" system factors including roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.
• Evaluate the impact of potential software and process changes on the organization.
• Develop and facilitate groups as necessary in pursuit of eliciting and defining requirements.
• Assist in the creation of the business case documentation.
• Understanding of architectural consistency and usability standards.
• Defines and develops user test cases and validates test results during testing.
• Executes unit and functional test cases.
• May conduct system demonstrations and training sessions, as well as participate in design/review of training content.
• Plays a third level support role by helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems.
• Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience leading data migration requirements from legacy systems into a new ERP (Sage X3) environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation rules, and validation
• Deep understanding of data structures, data quality, and migration best practices, with the ability to identify gaps and risks early
• Self-driven and accountable professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in any of the following business areas is desired: Sales operations, order entry, accounting, finance, procurement, warehouse operations, order management, and order fulfillment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ business analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred.
• Bonus: Sage X3 experience (ERP).

Job Title: Technology Architecture
Location: Quebec City, QC
Duration: 6 Months
The organization is seeking a technology architecture consultant to design the models, plans and technological orientations of digital systems and foundations, and to support teams in the phases of development, implementation, maintenance and evolution of solutions.
The resource will ensure that the technologies, solutions, and projects under their responsibility comply with applicable technological norms, standards, and guidelines. They will act as an expert to analyze needs, evaluate options, propose solutions, and produce the required architectural artifacts.
Main responsibilities
- Gather and analyze the information necessary to define the scope of the mandate and the expressed needs.
- Providing technological support for development projects or systemic projects
- Facilitating workshops to:
- Collect information on existing technologies
- Understanding the orientations of technological architecture
- Analyze the capacity of the infrastructure
- To align solutions with the organizational context
- Analyze corporate needs in terms of technological evolution
- Evaluate the integration of new technologies with existing systems
- To propose the evolution of existing technologies or alternative solutions
- Produce the architecture and detailed description of the chosen solution
- Describe the additions and modifications to be made to the infrastructure, taking into account security and performance.
- Update the architecture and detailed description according to evolving needs
- Compile a list of the required technological components and assess the acquisition and implementation costs.
- Present the proposed solutions and obtain the necessary approvals.
- Prepare technical quotes and supporting documents for the acquisition processes
- Produce the documentation required for integration into operational processes and deployment.
- Develop the implementation strategy, the deployment plan, and the execution schedule.
- Produce a detailed implementation plan and assess the efforts required.

Requirements and qualifications
- Hold an undergraduate university degree (bachelor's) in the field of information technology (computer science, software engineering, computer engineering or business administration with a focus on IT systems)
- OR possess two (2) years of relevant experience for each year of missing schooling
- Possess ten (10) years of experience in the field of information technology, including five (5) years as a technology architecture consultant in a similar large-scale technology environment
- Possess five (5) years of experience in conducting high-level studies (feasibility studies, preliminary analyses, or impact assessments) in the field of technological infrastructure
- Having produced technological architecture documentation and proofs of concept in two projects of more than 1000 person - days involving architectures in one of the following areas:
- Central servers, Unix, x86 or related technologies
- Workstations
- Telecommunications and connectivity
- SAN storage or related technologies
- Network infrastructure (Windows, Linux or others)
- Identification and authentication technologies (Windows, Linux or others)
- Web architecture, the Internet, and electronic service delivery
- Technologies related to infrastructure capacity planning
- Having completed, in at least two mandates, technological architecture projects whose ecosystem includes core technologies (Mainframe, COBOL, CICS) as well as .NET, JAVA, Web and cloud technologies
- Possess three (3) years of experience in overall architecture (integration) in projects covering all dimensions of an integrated solution (system, technology, work processes) in a multi-platform context and have written analysis reports or technology architecture documents
- DevSecOps technology experience in a cloud environment with Azure or AWS
