Role: Database SME Locations: Fort Mill, SC (Fully Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract

F2F Interview Highly Preferred - For Local Candidates Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 5 Days every week. Local or candidates from adjacent states only.

Required Skills/ Experience:

Performance Tuning & Optimization.
Experience in T-SQL query analysis and optimization recommendations.
Analyzing execution plans and pinning the optimal using query store.
Index statistics update and Index rebuild operations.
Partitioning functions for tables and Indexes.
Database blocking and impact analysis.
Stored procedure/ AdHoc SQL performance improvement based upon execution analysis and patterns.
Experience working in App-Dev environment.
Database Administration.
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2017/2019/2022).
Apply patches, service packs, CU.
Database and volume space management.
Troubleshooting skills for Database performance, Availability and scalability.
Monitor and maintain SQL Server databases.
Always On Availability Groups.
Replication.
CPU/RAM/Disk Space.
TempDB allocations and performance evaluation.
User roles, permissions, and ensure database security.
SSIS jobs and SQL agent jobs administration.

Good to have below tools Operational knowledge:

SolarWinds.
DPA.
Dynatrace ( API-DB call tracing).
