Actimize Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Actimize Engineer. This role is remote, however candidates must reside in CA, FL, CO, KS, TX, MO, NM, MI, or AZ.

Overview:
This role is primarily a data and integration engineering position, not a traditional Actimize customization or configuration role. Actimize is treated as a downstream system that consumes data via standardized interfaces. The Engineer's core responsibility is to support and extend approximately 30+ existing integrations (currently low maintenance) and to build new data feeds as needed to support evolving regulatory and business requirements. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong SQL, data analysis, and ETL-style development fundamentals who can investigate data issues end-to-end and learn Actimize and banking data structures over time.

Duties:
* Support and maintain ~32 existing Actimize data integrations with minimal day-to-day overhead
* Design and build new data feeds as business or regulatory needs evolve
* Extract data from source systems, transform it to Actimize-required formats, and deliver it via standardized interfaces
* Work in an ETL/ELT-style development model focused on data accuracy, completeness, and traceability
* Develop a functional understanding of how inbound data feeds impact Actimize modules such as AML, CDD, SAM, CTR, and Sanctions
* Collaborate with the Actimize architect and administrator, who own configuration and platform behavior
* Operate within a cloud-based, containerized Actimize environment where customization is not permitted

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong SQL skills: Ability to write complex queries, join tables, analyze relational data, and troubleshoot data issues independently
* Data-first mindset: Comfort working with large datasets and understanding how data flows between systems
* Development fundamentals: Experience with .NET preferred; Java acceptable
* Ability to consume data, transform it, and output it reliably
* Learning aptitude: Willingness and ability to learn Actimize concepts and banking data structures is critical
* Actimize experience is helpful, but not required
* Banking or financial services experience is highly beneficial
* Backgrounds in core banking systems, fraud, risk, BSA/AML, or compliance translate well
* Exposure to Signature or similar core systems is a plus but not required
* Candidates with strong fundamentals and the ability to learn are preferred

Data Platforms:
* SQL Server (current)
* Snowflake (future state; still SQL-based)

Integration Pattern:
* .NET-based interfaces extract data from SQL
* Data is transformed, written to delimited files, and transmitted to Actimize
* Integration framework is standardized and repeatable

Development Model:
* Engineers are trained on an internal, -cookie-cutter- integration framework
* Focus is on data extraction, transformation, validation, and delivery-not platform customization

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
