Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer Systems Architect to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Design and implement SAP utility solutions, including SAP S/4HANA where applicable, while defining component interactions, subsystem requirements, interfaces, and integration standards.
Provide strategic technical guidance for SAP development, production fixes, system enhancements, and solution design while ensuring alignment between business needs and enterprise architecture.
Analyze customer service business processes, document requirements, support regulatory and internal control compliance, and recommend improvements to operational performance and workflow efficiency.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to support device management, service orders, meter and premise transactions, exception handling, testing, implementation, operational reporting, and issue resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Experience in SAP IS-U architecture, utility application design, customer service operations, system integration, business process analysis, and production support, with 6–9 years of experience required in SAP IS-U.
Technical Skills:
SAP IS-U, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Solution Architecture, System Integration, Interface Design, Production Support, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, SharePoint
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting utility and energy-sector customer service operations, including service orders, device management, meter and premise transactions, field service coordination, and customer account-related workflows.
Experience analyzing utility business processes, operational performance, exception handling, and service order lifecycles to identify improvement opportunities and support reliable service delivery.
Experience documenting business requirements, supporting regulatory and internal control compliance, and coordinating governance, risk identification, business continuity, operational reporting, and issue escalation.
Experience collaborating with utility business stakeholders, field operations, and technical support teams to translate operational needs into system requirements, validate solutions, and implement process improvements.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of SAP IS-U utility processes, customer service operations, and the design and integration of enterprise SAP solutions.
Experience with FieldForce and Meter Data Management systems, along with utility query, reporting, and data analysis capabilities.
Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
