Develop, design, maintain, and integrate APIs, and vendor, backend and internal applications to streamline business processes, authentications and authorization mechanisms, deployment processes, production environments, queries, code, pipelines, unit and integration tests, third-party vendor systems, internal enterprise applications, middleware components, dashboards, alerts, stored procedures, views, triggers, batch jobs. Review system reliability, servers, performance, data, messaging, system interoperability, security, tokens, session handling, secure user identity, validation, resource optimization, requirements, solutions, project delivery, sprints, versioning strategies, incident tracking, root causes, batch analytics, performance profiling, load and stress conditions, user stories. Automate build and processes and workflows. Confer with business users, translate functional requirements into technical design documents and implementation plans, provide status updates. Identify problems, recommend modifications. Use RESTful Web Services, Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring, OAuth2, SSO, Ansible, Git, Splunk, Dynatrace, JIRA, Junit, PL/SQL, JAX-RS, Oracle, HaaS, Spark Cloudera, Yarn, Unix, YML, Kafka, MQ, Agile, CI/CD, Swagger, Open API, SOAP, Jenkins, IAC, SQL, ETL, Confluence, BitBucket, Microservices. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience designing backend applications; performing unit tests; working with servers; reviewing requirements; using RESTful Web Services, Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring, Junit, JAX-RS, Unix, Microservices. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $189,593 to $189,600/yr.
