Position SummaryThe Construction Project Manager III leads highly complex, high-value construction and renovation projects within our clients Health System. This senior-level role manages multimillion-dollar clinical projects with minimal oversight and requires deep technical expertise in healthcare environments, especially imaging, radiation, or procedural spaces.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex healthcare construction projects, including multimillion-dollar clinical renovations and specialty imaging environments.
- Serve as primary project owner throughout full lifecycle: planning, design, procurement, construction, activation, and closeout.
- Direct architects, engineers, consultants, and internal planning/design resources.
- Own project financials: estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
- Develop and issue RFPs; partner with procurement on bid evaluations and contract award.
- Provide hands-on field oversight-daily site walks, contractor coordination, issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital regulations, infection control protocols, and safety standards.
- Manage complex stakeholder groups including clinical leadership and executive teams.
- Mentor junior PMs and support departmental best practices.
Required Qualifications- Progressive construction project management experience.
- Extensive healthcare construction experience, ideally including:
- Imaging (MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine)
- Radiation Oncology
- Electrophysiology (EP) labs
- Cath labs
- Clinical tower projects
- Proven leadership managing high-complexity projects with minimal oversight.
- Strong financial and procurement expertise.
- Ability to clearly articulate exact responsibilities in prior roles.
Preferred Qualifications- Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC).
- Experience activating new clinical departments or coordinating equipment vendors for imaging modalities.
