Epic Application Analyst - Prelude & CadenceLocation: Remote (must reside within VA, NC, SC, PA, TX, FL, NM, MD to be considered)

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
Epic Application Analyst with expertise in
Epic Cadence and Prelude to support a critical Epic upgrade initiative. This role will focus on front-end Revenue Cycle applications supporting registration, scheduling, and patient access workflows.
The selected consultant will review release documentation, evaluate required system changes, implement configuration updates, perform testing, and support deployment activities while ensuring minimal operational disruption.
Responsibilities- Review Epic Nova Notes and release documentation across multiple upgrade releases.
- Identify required regulatory and operational system changes.
- Evaluate existing Epic Cadence and Prelude workflows and configurations.
- Design, build, configure, and implement system enhancements.
- Support registration, scheduling, and patient access workflows.
- Build and test enhancements in non-production environments.
- Conduct end-to-end testing and workflow validation.
- Partner with operational teams to validate functionality and workflow design.
- Support upgrade deployment activities and issue resolution.
- Document changes, recommendations, and testing outcomes.
- Collaborate with Epic analysts, SMEs, and Revenue Cycle stakeholders.
Required Qualifications- Active Epic Cadence Certification.
- Active Epic Prelude Certification.
- 3+ years of Epic Application Analyst experience.
- Experience supporting Epic upgrades and version migrations.
- Experience reviewing and implementing Epic release notes and Nova Notes.
- Strong build, configuration, testing, and deployment experience.
- Revenue Cycle experience supporting registration and scheduling workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to quickly learn existing workflows and system configurations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Evaluation and implementation of Epic-required enhancements and regulatory changes.
- Front-end Revenue Cycle workflow optimization and testing.
- Collaboration with operational leaders, Epic SMEs, and project teams to ensure a successful upgrade deployment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
