Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking an Oracle SQL & Tableau Developer. This role requires experience with Oracle SQL and Tableau, with additional experience in SAS and other reporting tools being beneficial. The position involves a hybrid work schedule with a requirement of a minimum of three days per week onsite. This role has a specific start date due to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop solutions using Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Tableau.
- Manage and deliver on assigned work with a proactive ownership mindset.
- Work with technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HDFS, HIVE, and Starburst.
- Utilize Linux command-line for scripting and coding.
- Perform Oracle query writing and tuning.
- Support ETL processing concepts using Oracle, Big Data, Starburst, and Informatica.
- Participate in an on-call support team rotation.
- Communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions, drive meetings, and capture actionable meeting notes.
Required Qualifications
- Primary skill in Oracle SQL / PLSQL.
- Secondary skill in Tableau.
- Experience with Python and Linux scripting/coding.
- Demonstrated experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HDFS, HIVE, and Starburst.
- Foundational understanding of ETL processing concepts and technologies such as Oracle, Big Data, Starburst, and Informatica.
- History of being part of an on-call support team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tertiary skill in SAS.
- Experience writing clear, testable, and business-focused Acceptance Criteria.
- Recent experience as a member of an Agile team using Jira.
- Experience with ETL tools like Hadoop or Informatica.
