Job Title:- GE Asset Performance Management (APM) Consultant
Location:100%REMOTE
Duration:-24 months+
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration
Lead end-to-end GE APM (Meridium) implementation engagements including
installation, configuration, patching, and technical troubleshooting
Translate functional requirements into technical solutions; advise clients on domain work
processes and system configuration options; be responsible for successfully
implementing GE APM work processes and products at customer sites
Configure and administer GE APM modules including Configuration Management,
Administration Settings, Query Management, Data Loader, and Asset Hierarchy
Interact with customers and utilize in-depth knowledge to support project teams in
requirement gathering, gap analysis, and review to ensure smooth delivery of project
deliverables
Functional & Domain Expertise
Design processes for RBI (Risk-Based Inspection), RCM (Reliability Centered
Maintenance), FMEA, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Mechanical Integrity, Inspection,
Thickness Monitoring, PHA, and Asset Criticality
Configure and support APM modules across Inspection Management, Thickness
Monitoring, Integrity Management, and Reliability workflows
Plan and facilitate process design workshops with client stakeholders
Technical & Integration Work
Work with IT infrastructure teams for VM provisioning, firewall exceptions, OS patches,
access issues, and system resource problems; maintain application performance, monitor
logs, and track recurring issues
Design and implement custom application workflows and system integrations —
particularly with SAP ECC/S4HANA, Historian (OSIsoft PI), and ERP platforms
Perform database development activities including relational database design using SQL,
Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SSRS
Troubleshoot and debug GE APM configuration issues with strong root-cause analysis
skills
Testing, Training & Delivery
Conduct UAT successfully; create test scripts, training documents, and guides; train client
end-users and superusers
Actively participate in RFP responses and Proof of Concept (POC) engagements
Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, and
solution design artifacts
Deliver sprint-based service cycles with SLA adherence and structured status reporting to
client stakeholders
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client; invest functional expertise in
enhancing company standards, processes, and procedures; build relationships with clients
and help them achieve targeted success outcomes
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues or
implement system enhancements; translate technical information to stakeholders across
cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, or related discipline
Experience: 6+ years of hands-on GE APM / Meridium implementation, configuration,
and support experience
Proficiency in GE Vernova APM (Meridium) — versions 4.x through current V5/Cloud
Strong knowledge of APM functional modules: RBI, RCM, FMEA, Inspection
Management, Thickness Monitoring, Asset Criticality, Mechanical Integrity
Database skills: SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL; report development via SSRS
Experience with SAP integration (SAP ECC, S4HANA, SAP PM/MM modules) with GE
APM
Solid understanding of asset management concepts in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical,
Refining, or Utilities environments
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/sprint delivery
models
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with OSIsoft PI Historian integration with GE APM
Experience with competing APM platforms such as AVEVA, IBM Maximo, SAP APM,
or AspenTech APM
.NET framework development concepts knowledge
GE Vernova / GE Digital APM certification (if available)
Experience in pre-sales, RFP responses, and client business development support
Exposure to NERC CIP, API RP 580/581, or other energy sector compliance frameworks
