We are seeking a dynamic Permanent Senior Superintendent-Commercial TI to join our vibrant team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing a broad range of commercial construction projects, including but not limited to Education, Retail, Restaurant, Ground up, Renovation, TI, Healthcare Construction, Medical Offices, Defense, Aviation, and Manufacturing sectors. This position requires an individual with a strong sense of leadership, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for the overall on-site management of the construction project, ensuring that objectives are met within the agreed time frame and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Implement and supervise the construction schedule, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Effectively communicate project updates and progress to all stakeholders, including clients, project team members, and senior management.
  • Manage and mitigate any on-site issues or risks, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
  • Foster a positive and safe working environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and productivity among the workforce.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and leadership to junior team members, fostering professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing a variety of commercial construction projects, including Education, Retail, Restaurant, Ground up, Renovation, TI, Healthcare Construction, Medical Offices, Defense, Aviation, and Manufacturing sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in using construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and other relevant regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed.
