Cloud Architect / Senior Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a Cloud Architect/Senior Developer.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, services, integrations, APIs, automation solutions, and background processing systems using modern software engineering practices
* Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions that support business and operational objectives
* Mentor team members and promote best practices related to software development, system integration, security, cloud technologies, and operational excellence
* Support production applications through incident management, root-cause analysis, performance optimization, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with security, compliance, infrastructure, data, quality, and operational requirements
* Define and support non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, availability, disaster recovery, security, maintainability, and supportability
* Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, testing strategies, troubleshooting efforts, and production issue resolution
* Evaluate application architectures, deployment processes, system integrations, data models, monitoring practices, and operational readiness
* Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, process flows, integration specifications, and operational procedures
* Establish and promote reusable design patterns, integration frameworks, and development standards across projects and teams
* Define future-state technology architectures that support applications, integrations, data movement, and operational processes

REQUIREMENTS:
* Typically, 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, cloud technologies, infrastructure, or solution architecture
* 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, infrastructure, or solution architecture with a proven track record of delivering complex technology initiatives
* Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications and technology solutions
* Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and demonstrated accomplishments will be considered
* Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise applications, services, or technology solutions using modern development frameworks and platforms
* Strong experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based or distributed technology solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
