Job Summary
|
The Solution Architect will lead enterprise architecture strategy and technology roadmap initiatives for a Food & Beverage business landscape. The role focuses on Dynamics 365 Commerce, Retail, and POS platforms, driving scalable and secure solutions while supporting modernization efforts. A key responsibility is designing and leading payment connector and payment gateway integrations across Dynamics 365 F&O, Commerce/Retail, POS, and CyberSource environments.

Key Responsibilities
|
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and technology roadmap.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solution architectures.
- Provide architectural leadership for Dynamics 365 Commerce, Retail, and POS platforms.
- Design payment connectors and gateway integrations across Dynamics 365 F&O, Commerce/Retail, POS, and CyberSource.
- Define end-to-end payment architecture including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, and voids.
- Govern integrations across ERP, retail, inventory, payment, and supply chain systems.
- Establish architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Support production operations, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the solution lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
|
- Extensive experience in enterprise solution architecture within retail, hospitality, food & beverage, or commerce environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, Retail, and POS solutions.
- Experience designing and developing payment connectors and payment gateway integrations involving Dynamics 365 F&O, Commerce/Retail, POS, and CyberSource.
- Strong understanding of retail payment processing, including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds, voids, and transaction lifecycle management.
- Deep knowledge of ERP processes, inventory management, retail operations, order management, and supply chain workflows.
- Experience with APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and cloud-based integration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture, modernization, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders and influence technology decisions.
- Experience supporting large-scale production environments and application transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Microsoft Azure and related cloud services.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising, warehouse management, inventory replenishment, and omnichannel commerce.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks and governance methodologies.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
