Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Define and implement quality control plans for new product builds.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during pilot production runs.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and BOMs.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities for new products.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLM systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including assembly, test, and quality control.
• Experience with product lifecycle management and design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data analysis or automation.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and test teams.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes (e.g., SMT, injection molding, CNC).
