L'Ingnieur des Oprations de Centre de Donnes joue un rle essentiel et trs oprationnel dans le soutien au dploiement et l'exploitation long terme d'un environnement de centre de donnes haute performance l'chelle de l'entreprise, destin prendre en charge des infrastructures de calcul avances et des dploiements de grande envergure.

Ce poste fait le lien entre l'infrastructure informatique et les systmes d'installations critiques, afin de garantir la fiabilit, les performances et la rsilience des systmes de calcul, de rseau, d'alimentation lectrique et de refroidissement prenant en charge des charges de travail avances forte densit.

Vous interviendrez ds les premires phases de dploiement d'un nouveau site (" greenfield "), en contribuant la mise en service, la validation et l'intgration de l'infrastructure. mesure que le site voluera vers une phase d'exploitation stable, vous assumerez la responsabilit de la fiabilit continue des systmes, de la gestion des incidents et de l'amlioration continue, en veillant ce que l'environnement respecte les plus hauts standards de disponibilit et d'efficacit.

Ce poste constitue un rle technique senior au sein de l'environnement du centre de donnes, travaillant en troite collaboration avec la direction du site afin d'assurer la fiabilit et la performance des infrastructures. Alors que le Responsable du Centre de Donnes est charg du management de l'quipe et de la priorisation des activits, ce poste apporte une expertise technique approfondie et assume la responsabilit oprationnelle des systmes critiques.

Vous collaborerez avec les quipes informatiques, techniques et les fournisseurs, en agissant comme ressource technique cl et point d'escalade dans un environnement mondialement connect.

Ce poste offre une continuit entre les phases de dploiement et d'exploitation, constituant une base solide pour une volution technique long terme au sein d'un programme d'infrastructure critique. Le programme est conu dans une optique de prennit, avec pour objectif de btir une quipe stable et performante qui voluera avec le site au fil du temps.

Type de contrat

Ce poste est propos sous la forme d'un Contrat Dure Indtermine (CDI) conformment au droit du travail franais. Il s'agit d'un poste de long terme destin soutenir la croissance continue et la monte en maturit oprationnelle du site. Cerebras et Milestone ont pour ambition de construire une quipe stable et performante, assurant une forte continuit entre les phases de dploiement et d'exploitation.

Principales responsabilits
Assurer la fiabilit et les performances de l'infrastructure du centre de donnes couvrant les systmes de calcul, de rseau, d'alimentation lectrique et de refroidissement.
Participer l'installation du matriel, au cblage structur et au dpannage des couches rseau 1 3.
Collaborer avec les fournisseurs de colocation pour examiner les procdures MOP (Method of Procedure) et EOP (Emergency Operating Procedure), valider les mcanismes de redondance et superviser les activits de maintenance.
Exploiter et prendre en charge les systmes d'infrastructure critiques, notamment les onduleurs (UPS), units de distribution lectrique (PDU), tableaux lectriques, groupes lectrognes, units CRAC/CRAH, CDU, groupes frigorifiques (chillers) et tours de refroidissement.
Contribuer la planification des capacits, l'quilibrage des charges et aux stratgies de maintenance prventive.
Piloter la gestion des incidents et raliser les analyses des causes racines (RCA) des vnements d'infrastructure.
Dvelopper et amliorer les procdures oprationnelles standard (SOP) afin d'accrotre la cohrence et l'efficacit des oprations.
Mettre en ?uvre des solutions d'automatisation et des outils visant optimiser les oprations du centre de donnes.
Accompagner la transition entre la phase de construction et l'exploitation courante, notamment par le dveloppement des processus et de la documentation.
Collaborer avec des quipes pluridisciplinaires afin de garantir des environnements srs, conformes et performants.
Participer un systme d'astreinte pour soutenir les oprations 24h/24 et 7j/7.

Comptences requises
Matrise professionnelle du franais et de l'anglais, l'crit comme l'oral, requise pour la coordination avec les quipes internationales.
Solide exprience pratique couvrant la fois l'infrastructure informatique et les systmes d'installations techniques critiques.
Excellente comprhension des fondamentaux des centres de donnes (redondance, tolrance aux pannes, conception haute disponibilit).
Exprience de l'exploitation de systmes lectriques (UPS, PDU, tableaux lectriques, groupes lectrognes, transformateurs).
Bonne comprhension des systmes de refroidissement (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, tours de refroidissement, refroidissement liquide).
Matrise des systmes Linux et des outils d'automatisation de base (Bash, Python, Ansible).
Capacit diagnostiquer et rsoudre des problmes d'infrastructure rseau via les interfaces en ligne de commande (Cisco, Arista, Juniper).
Exprience de collaboration avec des fournisseurs de colocation et de revue des procdures MOP/EOP.
Connaissance des plateformes ITSM/DCIM (ServiceNow, Jira, NetBox, Sunbird, etc.).
Excellentes capacits de documentation, de communication et de gestion des incidents.
Aptitude travailler efficacement dans des environnements exigeants trs haute disponibilit.
Excellentes comptences organisationnelles et grand souci du dtail.

Exprience requise
Au moins 5 ans d'exprience dans les oprations de centre de donnes, l'ingnierie d'infrastructure ou les environnements d'installations critiques.
Exprience avre dans la prise en charge la fois des systmes informatiques de centre de donnes et des infrastructures techniques du site.
Exprience dans la construction, la mise en service ou le dploiement de centres de donnes grande chelle (fortement souhaite).
Exprience dmontre dans la gestion des incidents et la ralisation d'analyses des causes racines.
Exprience dans l'accompagnement de collaborateurs plus juniors ou dans la conduite d'initiatives techniques.
Bonne connaissance des indicateurs cls de performance (KPI) et des mtriques oprationnelles des centres de donnes.
Exprience dans la gestion ou le support d'incidents majeurs et d'interruptions de service dans des environnements de production.

Data Center Operations Engineer

Job Overview:

The Data Center Operations Engineer plays a critical, hands-on role in supporting the build-out and long-term operation of a high-performance, enterprise-scale data center environment supporting advanced compute and large-scale infrastructure deployments.

This position bridges IT infrastructure and critical facilities systems, ensuring the reliability, performance, and resilience of compute, network, power, and cooling systems that support advanced, high-density workloads.

You will be involved from the early white space (greenfield) deployment phase, contributing to infrastructure bring-up, commissioning, and validation. As the site transitions into steady-state operations, you will take ownership of ongoing reliability, incident response, and continuous improvement, ensuring the environment operates at the highest standards of uptime and efficiency.

This role operates as a senior technical counterpart within the data center environment, working alongside site leadership to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance. While the Data Center Manager is responsible for team leadership and work prioritization, this role provides deep technical expertise and operational ownership across critical systems.

You will collaborate across IT, facilities, and vendor teams, acting as a key technical resource and escalation point within a globally connected environment.

This role offers continuity across both deployment and operational phases, providing a strong foundation for long-term technical growth within a critical infrastructure program. The program is designed with continuity in mind, with a focus on building a stable, high-performing team that evolves with the site over time.

Employment Type:

This position is offered as a Contrat Dure Indtermine (CDI) under French employment law. The role is intended as a long-term position supporting the continued growth and operational maturity of the site. Cerebras and Milestone are focused on building a stable, high-performing team with strong continuity across both deployment and ongoing operations phases.

Key Responsibilities:
Own reliability and performance of data center infrastructure across compute, network, power, and cooling systems
Support hardware installation, structured cabling, and Layer 1-3 troubleshooting
Partner with colocation providers to review MOPs/EOPs, validate redundancy, and oversee maintenance activities
Operate and support critical infrastructure systems including UPS, PDUs, switchgear, generators, CRAC/CRAH units, CDUs, chillers, and cooling towers
Contribute to capacity planning, load balancing, and preventive maintenance strategies
Lead incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure events
Develop and refine SOPs to improve operational consistency and efficiency
Implement automation and tooling to streamline data center operations
Support transition from build phase to steady-state operations, including process and documentation development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing environments
Participate in on-call rotation supporting 24x7 operations

Required Skills:
Professional fluency in English (written and verbal) and French is required for coordination with global teams
Strong hands-on experience across both IT infrastructure and critical facilities systems
Deep understanding of data center fundamentals (redundancy, fault tolerance, high availability design)
Experience operating electrical systems (UPS, PDUs, switchgear, generators, transformers)
Understanding of cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chillers, cooling towers, liquid cooling)
Proficiency with Linux systems and basic automation (Bash, Python, Ansible)
Ability to troubleshoot network infrastructure using CLI (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
Experience working with colocation providers and reviewing MOP/EOP procedures
Familiarity with ITSM/DCIM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, NetBox, Sunbird, etc.)
Strong documentation, communication, and incident management skills
Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, high-availability environments
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in data center operations, infrastructure engineering, or critical facilities environments
Proven experience supporting both data center IT systems and facility infrastructure
Experience in data center build-outs, commissioning, or large-scale deployments (strongly preferred)
Demonstrated experience leading incident response and performing root cause analysis
Experience mentoring junior team members or leading technical initiatives
Familiarity with data center KPIs and operational performance metrics
Experience managing or supporting outage events in production environments

Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA Server+, Network+, or Linux+
ITIL Foundation certification
CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent
