The Senior Data Center Operations Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the build-out and long-term operation of a new, enterprise-scale data center environment.
This position bridges IT infrastructure and critical facilities systems, ensuring the reliability, performance, and resilience of compute, network, power, and cooling systems that support advanced, high-density workloads.
You will be involved from the early white space (greenfield) deployment phase, contributing to infrastructure bring-up, commissioning, and validation. As the site transitions into steady-state operations, you will take ownership of ongoing reliability, incident response, and continuous improvement, ensuring the environment operates at the highest standards of uptime and efficiency.
This role operates as a senior technical counterpart within the data center environment, working alongside site leadership to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance. While the Data Center Manager is responsible for team leadership and work prioritization, this role provides deep technical expertise and operational ownership across critical systems.
You will collaborate across IT, facilities, and vendor teams, acting as a key technical resource and escalation point within a globally connected environment.
This role offers continuity across both deployment and operational phases, providing a strong foundation for long-term technical growth within a critical infrastructure program. The program is designed with continuity in mind, with a focus on building a stable, high-performing team that evolves with the site over time.

Develop and refine SOPs to improve operational consistency and efficiency
Implement automation and tooling to streamline data center operations
Support transition from build phase to steady-state operations, including process and documentation development
