Job Title: Android Mobile Developer (Contract)
Location: Remote
Duration: 4 Months
Hours: 40 Hours/Week (Mon-Fri, Flexible Schedule)

Project Overview
We are seeking an Android Mobile Developer to support a data-intensive mobile application initiative. This role will partner with analytic and technical teams to design, develop, test, and maintain modern Android applications in a collaborative, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, and maintain Android applications
- Enhance and modify existing applications based on evolving requirements
- Write efficient, high-quality code aligned with development standards
- Develop and maintain technical and user documentation
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Create test data and validate application accuracy
- Work effectively within legacy codebases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support task coordination
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of Android development experience
- Strong Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) knowledge
- Experience with Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON
- Familiarity with architecture patterns (MVC, MVP, etc.)
- Experience with Linux and Android OS environments
- Unit testing and bug-fixing experience

Operating Systems:
- Linux - Intermediate (Required)
- Android - Intermediate (Required)
- iOS - Beginner (Preferred)
Programming & Tools:
- Kotlin - Intermediate (Required)
- Android Studio - Intermediate (Preferred)
- XML Views UI Framework - Preferred
- Testing Tools: Espresso, Postman
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and deploying production-grade mobile applications
- Familiarity with Android frameworks
- Exposure to package managers (CocoaPods, Carthage, Swift Package Manager)
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Eagerness to learn emerging technologies
