Concept Solutions is seeking an IT Change & Configuration Management Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) program in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position supports day-to-day IT Change and Configuration Management activities, ensuring changes are properly documented, reviewed, and tracked in accordance with established ITIL processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented IT professional with experience using ServiceNow, maintaining accurate records, reviewing change requests, and supporting IT service management operations. Responsibilities
- Perform daily IT Change Management activities using ServiceNow and SharePoint KSN forms to document, track, and manage change requests.
- Develop and maintain ITIL-focused Configuration Management processes and procedures.
- Support the integration of Configuration Management processes with established IT Change Control activities.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of Change Requests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
- Attend technical and operational meetings, document meeting minutes, and incorporate relevant information into official agendas and records.
- Maintain accurate configuration and operational data to support IT Change and Configuration Management activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent application of established processes and procedures.
Requirements
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Management, Computer Science, or Information Technology Management, plus a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience performing project control functions in an IT change, configuration, or service management environment.
Education Substitution: In lieu of the specified degree, a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience as described above. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in another discipline may also qualify under this experience-based pathway.
- Experience with ITIL-based IT Change and Configuration Management principles, procedures, and practices.
- Experience developing and documenting IT processes and procedures.
- Hands-on experience using ServiceNow.
- Experience tracking and resolving incidents through ticketing queues.
- Experience supporting the integration of Change Control and Configuration Management processes.
- Experience maintaining, managing, and validating data for accuracy and completeness.
- Experience reviewing deliverables for quality and compliance before submission.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation and operational records.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and complete tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL v4 or v5 certification.
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments serving more than 35,000 customers.
- Experience collaborating with peer organizations and client teams.
- Experience working effectively in both remote and onsite environments.
Work Location and Schedule
- Work Location: Hybrid — Oklahoma City, OK. Candidates must reside within reasonable commuting distance of the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) and be available to report onsite as requested.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time.
- Security Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Personnel Suitability clearance in accordance with AMS 3.14-2.
- Compensation: $55,000–$62,000 annually.
