About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled, social-first video creator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment. This role is ideal for someone who works proactively and autonomously, manages multiple projects at once, and consistently delivers high-quality social content under tight timelines.
You will be responsible for concepting, directing, and producing social content that can clearly and creatively communicate both complex technical ideas and simple consumer-focused concepts. A strong social POV, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly iterate based on feedback are essential.
What You'll Do
Concept, art direct, and produce quick-turn, social-first video content across multiple projects
Translate complex subject matter into clear, entertaining, and easy-to-understand social stories
Lead and guide employee-generated content shoots with strong creative direction and social storytelling instincts
Collaborate closely with producers, editors, animators, and cross-functional partners to move projects forward efficiently
Apply a deep understanding of social trends, formats, and templates while adapting them appropriately for a corporate environment
Work independently or collaboratively with a flexible, ego-free approach
Maintain a high level of craft while balancing speed, experimentation, and iteration
Required Skills
Expert-level understanding of social media content creation, with a strong focus on short-form video
Demonstrated ability to break down complex topics into digestible, engaging social content
Hands-on camera operation experience with in-depth knowledge of video settings for both mobile and digital cinema cameras
Excellent lighting skills, particularly for indoor office environments and green screen setups
Experience shooting high-quality employee-generated content
Experience serving as a Director of Photography and director, with the ability to co-direct when necessary
Strong creative vision and the ability to execute current social video trends effectively
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience concepting and creating social content for brand and product
Experience working across multiple social platforms with an understanding of platform-specific nuances
Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and strategic storytelling
Fully proficient in shooting video using both smartphones and digital cinema cameras, including basic lighting and sound setups
Experience initiating and executing self-driven creative projects
Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Comfortable working in a quick-turn, fast-paced creative environment
Experience with product storytelling and creative or project strategy
Detail-oriented with a strong thinker/maker mindset
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Background working in a tech or product-driven environment
Video editing and design skills are a plus but not required
Work Environment
This role sits within a high-volume, deadline-driven creative production environment that values speed, precision, and adaptability. You will support multiple concurrent projects alongside a global creative team. No two days are the same, and success in this role comes from being proactive, detail-obsessed, and energized by fast-moving creative work.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
