Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior C# Engineer with strong experience in the insurance domain to design and develop scalable .NET Core Web APIs. This role involves building and integrating APIs with multiple insurance systems, focusing on risk modeling, actuarial calculations, and analytics within a property and casualty (P&C) environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop .NET Core Web APIs for insurance-based applications
  • Integrate APIs with multiple internal and external systems related to actuarial, risk modeling, and analytics
  • Handle complex data integrations involving risk pricing, exposure analysis, and financial loss estimations
  • Work with catastrophe modeling data, vulnerability functions, and risk analytics
  • Ensure API performance, scalability, and security
  • Implement data transformation and mapping across systems (JSON/XML)
  • Participate in Agile development cycles with continuous delivery and testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8 12+ years of experience in C# and .NET Core development
  • Strong expertise in ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, SQL, and RESTful services
  • Hands-on experience with data transformation (JSON/XML)
  • Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Strong experience in insurance domain (P&C preferred)
  • Understanding of actuarial systems, risk modeling, and insurance data workflows

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with flood or catastrophe risk modeling systems
  • Exposure to financial loss estimation and exposure analytics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
