Job Description :

The Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer will serve as the highest-level technical expert within the infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide network solutions. This role involves leading architecture, ensuring network security and compliance, mentoring engineers, and supporting mission-critical environments across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead network architecture, design, and capacity planning for enterprise infrastructure
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco networking equipment (routing, switching, wireless)
• Manage and support Cisco Catalyst Center environment
• Administer and troubleshoot network security solutions including Firepower and Cisco ISE
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
• Lead large-scale network migrations and hardware refresh initiatives
• Act as the final escalation point for complex network issues
• Monitor network performance and optimize using tools like SolarWinds and NetFlow
• Support disaster recovery planning and high-availability strategies
• Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers
• Contribute to IT budgeting and infrastructure planning

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master s preferred)
• Minimum 6+ years of systems/network engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience leading or supervising engineering teams
• Active CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure Certification (mandatory)

Technical Skills:

• Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Networking Technologies: VLANs, VPC, STP
• Security: IPsec, SSL/TLS, Zero Trust Architecture
• Cisco Platforms: Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, Firepower, ISE, AnyConnect
• Cloud Connectivity: AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute
• VoIP: SIP, H.323, MGoogle Cloud Platform, RTP, SRTP
• QoS & Traffic Management
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Cisco Catalyst Center
• Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, SNMP, NetFlow

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in healthcare or government environments
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience with 24x7 high-availability environments
