About the RoleWe are seeking a
ServiceNow Platform Engineer to support a newly launched
Platform Health Initiative focused on strengthening platform governance, improving operational efficiency, and reducing risk across the enterprise environment.
This position will begin with a strong focus on platform administration, operational support, and access management within non-production environments. Over time, the role will evolve into a broader engineering function involving automation, reporting, dashboard development, and platform optimization initiatives.
The ideal candidate is passionate about ServiceNow, enjoys troubleshooting complex platform issues, and is eager to drive automation and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do- Manage and support non-production ServiceNow environments, including access requests and privilege administration.
- Execute platform administration processes, including security group creation, maintenance, and fulfillment activities.
- Provide Level 3 support for ServiceNow platform-related incidents and operational issues.
- Review system logs, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis and issue triage.
- Analyze platform health metrics, reporting data, and trends to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with platform and engineering teams to investigate, remediate, and prevent platform risks.
- Design and implement automation solutions that reduce manual administrative and fulfillment processes.
- Support the expansion and enhancement of the ServiceNow Service Catalog.
- Develop and improve request fulfillment workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to ongoing platform governance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications- Experience with ServiceNow Administration and Development.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Service Catalogs and related workflows.
- Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Active ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting ServiceNow platform issues in enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience designing and maintaining ServiceNow Catalog Request Forms.
- Scripting and debugging experience within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience automating manual ServiceNow workflows and operational processes.
- Familiarity with platform reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Experience supporting platform governance, operational risk management, or process improvement initiatives.
