Job Title: Oracle HCM Technical Lead

Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for a strong Oracle HCM Technical Lead to join a critical project with Ford. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud, integrations, reporting, and database technologies.

You will be leading technical design while actively working on development in a fast-paced enterprise setup.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and support of Oracle HCM technical solutions
Develop BI Publisher reports, templates, and document bursting
Build and manage integrations using:
- HCM Extracts
- HDL (HCM Data Loader)
- REST & SOAP APIs
Write and optimize complex SQL & PL/SQL queries, packages, and procedures
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Troubleshoot production issues, data discrepancies, and integration failures
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices
Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability
Support releases, testing cycles, and deployments

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of overall IT experience
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM (Cloud preferred)
Expertise in:
- BI Publisher (reports, templates, bursting)
- HCM Integrations (Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs)
- SQL & PL/SQL
Experience with data migration, reporting, and interface development
Strong knowledge of HR modules:
- Core HR
- Payroll
- Benefits
Ability to work in a hybrid onsite model (4 days/week)
