Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Allegan seeking experienced Help Desk Technicians. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware.
  • Resolve user issues related to production equipment, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
  • Document and track all support requests and resolutions within the ticketing system.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on manufacturing IT infrastructure.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of new technology in the production environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify and resolve recurring technical problems.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking principles.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware (e.g., PCs, printers, scanners) and software issues common in manufacturing settings (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLC interfaces).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
