Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware.
- Resolve IT issues related to production machinery and control systems.
- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution for manufacturing operations.
- Administer user accounts and permissions for various manufacturing applications.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT equipment within the production environment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new IT infrastructure for factory floor expansion.
Recommended Qualifications- Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware (e.g., PCs, printers, scanners) and software issues.
- Familiarity with manufacturing-specific software or systems (e.g., ERP, MES) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with SCADA systems or industrial control systems
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation
- Experience with inventory management software or asset tracking systems
