Summary

Job Description
A growing financial technology company is building software and infrastructure to streamline the mortgage process, from borrower-facing applications through loan delivery and funding. Its integrated platform brings together APIs, decisioning, capital, compliance, operational dashboards, and reusable interface components to help modernize a complex, highly regulated industry.

As a Senior Agent Product Manager, you'll help shape the end-to-end mortgage origination experience and explore how applied AI can improve core product capabilities. Your work may span document extraction, optimization tools, and agent integrations, with the goal of making mortgage workflows more efficient and scalable.

You'll help define a modular platform that supports the full origination lifecycle. This includes working with engineering on product direction, launching support for new loan products, managing third-party integrations, and partnering with go-to-market and account management teams to support customers. The role calls for strong product judgment, comfort with technical details, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA, with four days in the office and one remote day each week.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Define and evolve the product experience across the mortgage origination lifecycle, from point of sale through loan delivery
  • Develop a clear product perspective on scalable, modular infrastructure for mortgage workflows
  • Identify opportunities to challenge conventional approaches and improve product outcomes
  • Help onboard and manage third-party integrations and strategic partners
  • Use AI and large language models in your day-to-day work and evaluate how they can solve customer and product problems
  • Partner closely with engineering to shape product decisions and maintain a strong feedback loop
  • Define, build, and launch support for new loan products
  • Work with go-to-market and account management teams to support customer engagements and improve customer outcomes
What We're Looking For
  • Strong, well-reasoned product opinions and the ability to explain and defend decisions in a collaborative, debate-oriented environment
  • Excellent prioritization skills and a focus on high-impact work
  • Comfort working in a regulated market, with a commitment to embedding compliance into product design
  • A customer-first mindset and high standards for customer and borrower experiences
  • Preference for scalable software solutions over manual operational workarounds
  • Ability to surface process gaps, lead discussions on long-term solutions, and clearly document temporary workarounds when needed
  • Skill in managing multiple partners and building relationships that support consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to get deeply familiar with mortgage workflows and industry details
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in the software industry, ideally in product management or engineering
  • Significant experience building 0-to-1 enterprise software in regulated industries
  • Ability and interest in learning the mortgage industry and understanding its end-to-end value chain
  • Experience conducting user research using a variety of methods
  • Ability to write SQL queries to analyze user data and identify trends and insights
  • Experience creating wireframes and workflow diagrams in Figma or similar tools
  • Strong product-design sensibility and experience working closely with designers
  • Ability to manage strategic partners effectively
The Offer
  • Full-time, onsite work in San Francisco, CA
  • Opportunity to own product direction for an autonomous laboratory platform
  • Direct collaboration with robotics, hardware, software, and science teams
  • A hands-on role shaping systems from initial requirements through deployment

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
