Our client is seeking a Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing - IT in Doral, FL/ Hybrid.
Role Description
The Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing - IT is responsible for leading sourcing and supplier management activities for information technology products and services across the enterprise. This includes hardware, software, SaaS, telecommunications, cloud services, and IT professional services. This role partners closely with IT leadership, operating companies, finance, legal, and procurement stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that optimize cost, mitigate risk, improve service quality, and support business and technology objectives across multiple brands and operating units.
Manage and strategically source a portfolio of IT products and services in alignment with established sourcing and procurement processes.
Develop and execute category strategies that improve total cost of ownership (TCO), supplier performance, and contractual outcomes.
Identify opportunities to leverage scale, simplify the supplier base, and standardize commercial terms across operating companies.
Lead the development and execution of RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for IT goods and services.
Evaluate supplier proposals using cost, quality, risk, and performance criteria.
Conduct commercial negotiations to optimize pricing, service levels, contractual protections, and long term value.
Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to build a deep understanding of technology needs, priorities, and roadmaps.
Manage competing interests across operating companies to drive enterprise focused solutions.
Establish trusted relationships with senior leaders to support business strategies and annual objectives.
Support the negotiation and execution of technology agreements in partnership with legal and procurement teams.
Ensure contracts align with best practices for technology, data privacy, security, and compliance.
Drive supplier performance governance, including service levels, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain sourcing analytics, reporting, and dashboards for assigned categories.
Track and communicate sourcing performance, savings, and value creation.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sourcing methodologies, and audit requirements.
Lead or support cross functional sourcing initiatives and projects from strategy through execution.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders.
Support change management efforts related to new suppliers, processes, or sourcing strategies.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or related field
Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM) preferred
7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or IT commercial management
Demonstrated experience sourcing IT related categories such as software, SaaS, cloud services, telecom, infrastructure, or professional services
Experience working in complex, global, matrixed organizations
Strong understanding of information technology ecosystems, vendors, and commercial models
Proven ability to conduct complex sourcing events and commercial negotiations
Ability to translate business and technical requirements into sourcing and supplier strategies
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
Excellent written, verbal, and executive level communication skills
Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Experience with sourcing and procurement systems and contract lifecycle management tools
