3Core Systems is looking for .NET Solution Architect for one of our clients in Dallas, TX (3 days onsite) with .NET, ASP.NET Core, React, AWS, Kafka, Enterprise Solution Architecture.
Job Title: .NET Solution Architect
Location: Dallas, TX (3 days onsite)
Contract: 12 months contract (ability to extend)
Note: Local candidates preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture:
- Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications, cloud platforms, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical standards, implementation roadmaps, and solution documentation.
- Define application, API, integration, and microservices architecture standards.
- Guide engineering teams to ensure solutions are implemented according to architectural designs.
Enterprise & Cloud Strategy:
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, governance, and technology roadmaps.
- Design cloud-native and hybrid solutions utilizing AWS and Azure technologies.
- Define strategies for application modernization, cloud adoption, automation, and DevOps.
- Ensure solutions support high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Governance & Security:
- Establish architecture governance and ensure compliance with County policies and security standards.
- Evaluate architectural risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Promote best practices for application security, identity management, system integration, and data protection.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to software engineers and technical teams.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical design sessions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve County operations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with executive leadership, IT Directors, project managers, and business stakeholders to align technology with business objectives.
- Present architecture strategies, technical recommendations, and modernization initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build relationships with technology vendors and strategic partners.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years in a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or similar architecture-focused role.
- Experience designing enterprise applications, cloud solutions, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud computing, APIs, security, and modern application design.

- Cloud: AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, EC2, S3), Azure Cloud Services.
- Containers & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Databases: SQL Server, NoSQL databases.
