Situation:
Client is looking for a contract to hire a candidate to join their team in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The Enterprise Application Manager – Salesforce leads the administration, support, and strategic direction of enterprise applications, including ERP and instructional systems. This hands-on leadership role oversees ERP Business Analysts and provides technical guidance for system maintenance, implementation, upgrades, and integrations. The position is responsible for executing the Enterprise Applications strategy, managing daily operations, and ensuring alignment with university and departmental policies.
This role partners with stakeholders to enhance system utilization, resolve issues, and strengthen customer relationships. It also analyzes data, compiles reports to inform OIT leadership decisions, and ensures compliance with security standards. The Manager oversees vendor relationships (excluding contract negotiations), monitors application lifecycles, and develops replacement strategies as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading enterprise-wide application development, support, integrations, and quality assurance
- Managing third-party application vendors and software upgrades
- Driving technology innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting IT and Security compliance efforts
- Planning, prioritizing, and overseeing team workload and capacity
Must:
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce
- Strong knowledge of Integration and API Experience
- ERP
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Project.
- Familiarity with MS SQL and common industry reporting tools (i.e. Crystal Reports, Business Objects)
