Introduction:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and working with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and performance indicators.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform process mapping to streamline workflows and optimize business processes.
• Support change management initiatives by facilitating communication and training sessions.
• Work with database administrators to ensure data integrity and security.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, MIS, or Economics.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Two (2) years of experience performing configurations, modifications, or enhancements within enterprise business applications.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with large, complex SaaS vendor implementations.
• Experience with large transit initiatives.
• Experience with large transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional soft skills and emotional intelligence to navigate at multiple levels across the organization.
• IIBA Certification.
• Experience creating and maintaining dashboards in Power BI to support reporting and analytics.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro, Mural, Microsoft Whiteboard, etc.
• Experience working in waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, PeopleSoft Financials, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in business process improvement, workflow optimization, and change management.
• Experience working in Agile environments and supporting Product Owner responsibilities.
• Advanced analytical skills, including process mapping, data analysis, and metrics reporting.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, charts), Word, PowerPoint, Access, and database management.
• Experience with SQL queries or similar reporting tools preferred.
