Oracle Database Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator in Salt Lake City, UT.

Duties Include:
* Resolve issues that arise in day-to-day management of RPA/UDA program and provide timely responses and solutions as required
* Communicating at a business function level with technology personnel in both verbal and written communication
* Collaboration with developers, system administrators, and Application support engineers, participating in cross-functional teams and projects
* Provide knowledge leadership for development teams in terms of scalability and database growth, making recommendations for hardware and software upgrades
* Perform applications database administration (Oracle, Postgres, Yugabyte and SQL Server) services including SQL code review, database performance analysis and optimization, query tuning, database application design, physical data modeling, development support, and data engineering

REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree, or equivalent experience
* Experience with Oracle system as well as Application DBA support functions
* Experience performing Oracle 19c database administration for high availability systems, within the financial services or similar industries
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
* Deep understanding of Oracle database connectivity (Sqlnet, listeners, scan listeners, tnsnames)
* Advanced Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices including software configuration management, test automation, versioning
* Experience with AWS database technologies, PostgresSQL and Yugabyte is a bonus
* Proven analytical, data mapping, and problem-solving abilities with strong judgment, issues management and process analysis skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
