Description
We are looking for an End User Support specialist to provide on-site technical assistance in Lehigh Acres, Florida. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving day-to-day technology issues, supporting a wide range of user devices, and delivering responsive service in a fast-moving environment. The person in this role will help maintain productivity by resolving desktop, mobile, network, and conference room technology problems efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Deliver in-person support for employees by diagnosing and resolving issues involving computers, software applications, printers, and other end-user equipment.
Investigate and correct problems across Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to keep users working effectively.
Perform foundational network support tasks such as reviewing IP configurations, addressing connectivity problems, assisting with wireless access, and resetting Windows-based workstations when needed.
Provide technical assistance for Apple hardware and iOS devices, while also offering limited troubleshooting support for Android-based mobile technology.
Set up, test, and troubleshoot conference room audio-visual equipment, including display systems, projectors, sound components, and collaboration tools.
Respond to service requests and support tickets with a sense of urgency, prioritizing issues based on business impact and user needs.
Assist users with mobile applications and peripheral devices, ensuring reliable functionality across a variety of hardware and software environments.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience supporting Windows 10 environments and general Microsoft Windows desktop technologies.
Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office products and resolve common end-user application issues.
Working knowledge of basic networking concepts, including IP addressing, wireless connectivity, and general network problem diagnosis.
Experience providing support for mobile devices, including Apple products and iOS platforms.
Familiarity with desktop peripherals and the ability to resolve hardware-related user issues efficiently.
Understanding of service desk or ticket-based support processes in an end-user support setting.
Ability to stay organized, think quickly, and deliver effective technical support in a fast-paced workplace.
Exposure to audio-visual support for meeting rooms or collaboration spaces is preferred; IT certifications are helpful but not required.
