About the Role
We're seeking a ServiceNow ITAM Licensing Associate to strengthen our enterprise IT Asset Management program and lead key aspects of our ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation. In this role, you'll ensure our software licensing, entitlement models, and ITAM processes are optimized for compliance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
You'll work closely with procurement, legal, finance, IT operations, and ServiceNow platform teams-acting as the strategic link between business stakeholders and technical delivery groups.
Key Responsibilities
Software Licensing, Entitlements & Compliance
- Serve as the subject matter expert on software licensing models (user/ device/ concurrent/ subscription/ cloud).
- Interpret and advise on Tier 1 & Tier 2 software publisher contracts, audit risks, and compliance obligations.
- Drive license reconciliation, harvesting, and true up forecasting to optimize spend and reduce risk.
- Support end to end SAM Pro implementation, including workshops, process design, requirements gathering, and data modeling.
- Align SAM processes with broader ITAM governance, including CMDB, discovery, HAM, procurement, and reclamation workflows.
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows supporting SAM Pro capabilities.
- Guide entitlement mapping, normalization logic, and software model accuracy using the SAM content library.
- Partner with procurement and finance to ensure accurate contract, entitlement, and vendor data.
- Assess and improve ITAM data quality, resolving conflicts between SAM and HAM records.
- Collaborate with ITAM operations, security, and platform teams to support continuous improvement and compliance.
- Provide recommendations to architects and project managers on SAM strategy, standards, and design.
