We're seeking a Senior Director, Tech & Data in Portland to partner with clients in turning strategy into measurable value, leveraging technology and data to drive transformationand help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY

The Director will lead client engagements across a retail portfolio, delivering technology-enabled solutions while growing client relationships and business opportunities. This role is ideal for a management consultant with strong business transformation experience and a solid understanding of data and technology. Someone who partners effectively with technologists but leads with strategy, delivery, and client outcomes.

YOU WILL:

  • Lead end-to-end technology and data consulting engagements for retail clients, from strategy and design through implementation and value realization.
  • Advise client executives on leveraging technology and data to drive measurable business outcomes, including growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery across engagements, consistently meeting client objectives, timelines, and commercial expectations.
  • Grow and expand a retail client portfolio by identifying new consulting opportunities and partnering with account teams to shape and deliver differentiated offerings.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop proposals, lead client pitches, and support business development initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop consulting teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • 7-10 years of management consulting experience, with a strong track record delivering technology- and data-enabled business transformation for retail clients.
  • Deep expertise across retail technology platforms, including ERP, POS, CRM, e-commerce, supply chain, and merchandise & assortment planning, as well as data and analytics capabilities.
  • Proven ability to translate technology and data insights into clear, actionable business strategies that drive growth and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated success growing and expanding client accounts while delivering measurable, sustained business impact.
  • Experience leading consulting teams, managing senior client relationships, and driving portfolio growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred, with strong executive communication and influencing skills.
