About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fabrication Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves assembling and soldering components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies, fabricating wiring harnesses, and integrating these into cabinet assemblies. You will collaborate closely with engineers, draftsmen, procurement, and quality teams to deliver high-quality assemblies to Engineering and Manufacturing departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and solder components on circuit cards and sub-assemblies.
  • Fabricate wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de-pinning, and mounting hardware application.
  • Build single or multi-bay cabinet assemblies for delivery to production areas.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation.
  • Communicate technical issues clearly with engineers and management.
  • Use Microsoft Office and other software tools for documentation and communication.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment; safety shoes are required.


Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fabrication environments (e.g., cable/wire harness, SMT board fabrication, or military product maintenance).
  • Prior certification in soldering and harness assembly to MIL-STD requirements.
  • Proven experience fabricating electrical equipment from engineering documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Solder certification to J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721.
  • Experience with Test Equipment engineering standards.
  • Familiarity with procurement and acquisition of test materials.
