IT - Technical Business Analyst- Intermediate (Collections & Remarketing)
Location: Fort Worth, Texas (On-site)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
This position supports the Collections and Remarketing teams, including Active Collections, Recovery, Exceptions, Strategy, and Soft Collections. The role involves collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to create reports, analyze business results to identify trends, and perform root cause analysis to improve reporting quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and data stakeholders to determine report requirements, scope, and technical specifications.
- Create, review, and publish recurring production and ad hoc reports according to service level agreements.
- Analyze business results to identify and communicate trends and potential correlated issues.
- Perform root cause analysis to eliminate defects in reports and troubleshoot issues with data integrity.
- Act as a consultant to business partners by providing trend analysis and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain internal processes, including department roster history, vendor KPIs, and dialer metrics.
- Assess customer requests and develop reports in a timely manner, coordinating priorities with supervisors.
- Reduce manually generated reports through automation using tools such as SAS, Cognos, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Seek continuous improvement by increasing the efficiency of standard reports and incorporating visualizations.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills: Experience with reporting and automation tools such as SAS, Cognos, Power BI, or Tableau.
Work Environment
This role requires the candidate to work four days per week in the office.
