Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Reporting / MicroStrategy Architect to serve as a critical bridge between our data warehouse and enterprise reporting layer. This role is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing a
single source of truth that enables accurate, scalable, and trusted reporting across the organization.
This is a highly specialized role that requires deep expertise in
MicroStrategy, strong data modeling skills, and the ability to translate complex data structures into consumable insights for business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the MicroStrategy semantic layer, ensuring a consistent and reliable single source of truth for reporting
- Architect and optimize enterprise reporting solutions using MicroStrategy
- Partner closely with data engineering and data warehousing teams to ensure reporting aligns with underlying data models
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and governance across reporting assets
- Support and enhance existing reporting architecture while guiding future-state analytics design
- Serve as a subject matter expert for MicroStrategy and enterprise reporting best practices
Required Qualifications
- Deep, hands-on experience with MicroStrategy, including:
- Semantic layer and metadata design
- Complex report and dashboard development
- Strong understanding of:
- Data modeling (dimensional and relational)
- Data warehousing concepts and architectures
- Proven ability to bridge data warehousing and reporting - a rare and highly valued skillset
- Experience working with large, complex datasets in an enterprise environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
- Exposure to modern analytics platforms or cloud data warehouses
- Background in enterprise analytics, BI architecture, or analytics engineering
