Express Employment Professionals of Covina, is seekingCable Assemblersfor our client located in Claremont, CA.Cable Assembler- $17.50/HRShiftHours:Mon-Fri 6:00 AM- 2:30PM Job Summary: We are looking for Cable Assemblers to help build cables and complete basic assembly tasks under the guidance of supervisors. This is an entry-level role, perfect for candidates with little or no prior experience in cable assembly.
Responsibilities:- Assemble cables and follow manufacturing instructions.
- Use basic tools like calipers, micrometers, and scales.
- Operate machinery or computers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, including time slips.
- Work in multiple areas or workstations as required.
- Follow safety and quality standards.
- Complete required training and certifications.
Requirements:- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Basic English reading and writing skills.
- Six months to one year of relevant experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to complete training and certification programs (J-Standard-001, IPC-610/620, Basic Cable Assembly).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
